[News] Ku Hye Sun will receive citation directly from the Seoul’s Mayor..she is (one of the) finalist for The Seoul Senior Film Festival (SISFF)

YG informed the reporters on Sept 25th that Ku Hye Sun‘s 2012 3D short film, Fragments of Memory, has advanced to finalist for the Seoul Senior Film Festival.

So, Ku Hye Sun will attend the opening ceremony of the festival on Sept 30th to receive the citation from the Mayor Park Won Soon.YG spoke on behalf of Ku Hye Sun to reporters that: “It is an honor to make the finalist. Despite the fact that 3D film had to be shown in 2D, she is grateful that they still liked her film. I am so grateful to actor Yoo SeungHo for helping to make the film and I feel so sorry that I was never able to show him the original yet.”

Ku Hye Sun’s further comment: “To an actor, it is an important filmography. I am glad that I am finally able to send him a good news.”

Fragments of Memory is the Korea’s very first film made with 4K 3D stereoscopic film production system. It is a beautiful and emotional film depicting the remembrance of precious past memory.

Ku Hye Sun not only directed the film, but also authored the script, and composed the music for the film. She is multi-talented and has made films since 2008, starting with Cheerful Caretaker, Dear, Magic and Peach Tree. She is staying active as a director.

Seoul Senior Film Festival is a film festival that covers all three generations from teens to adults to older persons. Total of 36 films are advancing to finalist under the competition category. The festival opens on Sept 30th until Oct 2nd at the Choong Moo-ro Dae Han Theatre and the entrance fee is free.
